Why this playbook
Chief Data & AI Officers have no shortage of frameworks. What is harder to find is a plain answer to three questions: where do we stand, which decisions matter now, and what do we do next. The playbook tries to answer those, one pillar at a time.

How it is written
- Concept guidance is vendor-neutral. It should be useful on any platform.
- Microsoft-specific guidance is marked On Microsoft and dated. Ratings are honest, including Hold where a capability is not ready.
- No customer names and no customer stories.
